"Never Split the Difference" by Chris Voss
Don't get discouraged if someone says "no" at first. “No” is often the start of negotiation and not the end of it. It often just means the counterpart wants things to stay the same for now. Instead of taking "no" personally, try to see it as an opening. Respond by offering something different or explaining your perspective calmly. People are more afraid of missing out than getting something good. When negotiating, show the other person what they might lose if they don't agree.
